KabaKaba Cancellation Policy

 

Effective Date: 1st July, 2025

 

At KabaKaba, we understand that sometimes plans change. This Cancellation Policy explains how and when customers and vendors can cancel orders placed through the KabaKaba platform, and under what conditions cancellations may be accepted or declined.

1. Customer Order Cancellations

Orders Eligible for Cancellation

You may cancel an order if:

  • The vendor has not yet confirmed or started preparing the order.
  • The order has not yet been dispatched or picked up for delivery.

Orders Not Eligible for Cancellation

Cancellations may be denied if:

  • The order has already been processed, dispatched, or is en route.
  • The item is custom-made, prepared on demand, or non-refundable (e.g., perishable goods, digital services).

📲 How to Cancel

  • Open the KabaKaba App.
  • Go to Orders > Select your order > Tap "Cancel Order".
  • If eligible, your cancellation will be processed immediately.
  • If not, you may contact Customer Support to request manual review.

2. Refunds for Cancelled Orders

  • If your cancellation is approved, a full or partial refund (excluding delivery charges) will be issued to your original payment method or KabaKaba Wallet.
  • Refunds are processed within 3–7 business days.

3. Vendor-Initiated Cancellations

Vendors may cancel an order if:

  • The item is out of stock or unavailable.
  • There is a logistical issue preventing fulfillment.
  • There is suspected fraudulent activity.

Customers will be notified immediately, and a full refund will be issued.

4. Logistics/Delivery Cancellations

For delivery services booked through KabaKaba:

  • You may cancel before the driver is dispatched.
  • Once dispatched, cancellation may incur a fee or be declined.

5. No-Show or Failed Delivery

If the customer is unavailable at the delivery location and unreachable after multiple attempts:

  • The order will be marked as a "failed delivery".
  • A re-delivery fee may apply or the order may be non-refundable (depending on the item).

6. Important Notes

  • Excessive cancellations may lead to account restrictions.
  • KabaKaba reserves the right to modify or deny cancellation requests if abuse is suspected.
